Cinemax: Byzantium Tests

To promote Hunted, a 2012 global espionage series on Cinemax, Campfire designed an immersive online experience acts as an elaborate recruitment test for the show’s clandestine security firm, Byzantium. The multi-layered test challenges emotional reactions, multi-tasking skills and subconscious instincts.

As Creative Technologist on “Byzantium Tests,” I created videos; recorded and edited audio; created encrypted USBs for influencers; and designed technological solutions for the interactive video and drawing identification.

“Byzantium Tests” received 15 individual awards, including the Ad Age Small Agency Campaign of the Year, a Silver Clio for Digital Game, and a ProMax Gold BDA award for Technical Innovation.

It was also featured in the 2013 Communications Arts Interactive Annual.
